Banagaloored.

I am in Bangalore for the past two weeks.Have joined a new company called Adea Technologies(People often
think it as Idea)..Well the work environment seems to be pretty cool(I have no work except for GMAIL chat and Googling)
So I do my 8 to 5 job religiously and then search for cheapest pubs in Banagalore. Well really cannot find even one such pub but the drinking culture here is quite amazing. It is "customised" according to everybody's needs and tastes (Sounds great) but
it can be a little bit embarassing for people like me. So one can go to a liquor shop and ask for 30ml or 60ml peg and one can drink there itself.
Its a great thing. I think this culture should be followed everywhere in India.
One fine evening when I was missing some beautiful days of my life I thought of following the same culture. I bought one dairy milk chocolate which acts as a
"CHAKNA" while I consume whisky and reached a liquor shop nearby my flat. I just gave cursory look in the shop scanning the brands. I saw a miniature whisky bottle and ordered one (I forgot the brand)..I asked for a glass poured the liquor and mixed with water and started sipping easily. I took out dairy milk chocolate and started drinking with it but to my utter surprise all my fellow piyyakad started staring me as If I was commiting some crime. I became so embarassed that I gulped my drink in one go and fleed away from the spot.

Again after few days my drinking urge was at its height. But this time I thought of drinking in home. But when I reached I saw a bar kind of thing.......A new culture again...You can buy drinks and sit into the adjoining bar and ]
drink or you can simply sit and order someone and he will bring the specified drinks at no extra cost(Really South India's progress is great).I really liked this concept and became a follower. Its really ok kind of thing and cost effective especially in the time of recession
When you are getting drinks on the marked price and when you are alone then its the best place to have your drink. But ambience is very necessary while drinking and I think this bar does have very differnet kind of ambience which willnot suit to sophisticated creatures.
So I have decided one thing that whenever I will be alone I will go and have my drinks there until the recession time gets over. Also I would like to recommend like minded people to visit such place.
